Spyder Jackets

With all the different brands of ski jackets available it can be hard to figure out which brand to buy. They all come with different features and are made of different material, so why is one brand better than another? Well, sometimes people just prefer a specific brand. That's the way I am with the Spyder ski jacket. To me the Spyder jacket is the most awesome. I think it's because of the style and design. The colors are bright and bold and to me, the jacket is fun and unique which fits my personality.

Spyder has a reputation for attention to detail. There is a high level of attention given to the style and function. It is because of this that users of the Spyder jacket often like it better than the ski jackets produced by other competitors.

In addition to the great features and design, they have a great system of naming their jackets. Here are some of the names for women's Spyder ski jackets; Prima Donna, Bella Donna, Dolce, Duchess, Bling and Sapphire. The men's jackets are named: Yosemite, Flight Deck, Dolomite, Vanish and Deluge, just to name a few. I really like creative things and to me these names are great!

Creative names are not the only thing the Spyder jacket has going for it. They also have great features. Check out these features that make your time outdoors more enjoyable whether you are skiing, hiking, no matter what you are doing outdoors, the Spyder jacket has some very handy features such as: back pack compatible waist belt portals, removable hood, articulated sleeves, water proof zippers, mesh goggle pocket, pass pocket, powder skirt with snaps, lens cloth, draw cord, key holder, ventilation zippers, internal storm flap, adjustable cuffs, hood storage pocket and multiple pockets.

The jacket is made from great material. This manufacturer really does take the time to get the material right because they know the quality of the material is what really sells the jackets. XT.L is one of the technologies Spyder uses for waterproofing and breathability. It is an ultra-thing membrane that still allows the fabric to be lightweight, pliable and durable. Spylon is what prevents water absorption and also protect against oil-based and water-based stains. Thinsulate, a well-known insulation is used for warmth. I don't know how they do it, but water just beads up and rolls right off the ski jacket. It's truly amazing.
